The Dalmore Whisky Distillery has launched its twenty-one-year-old Highland Single Malt Whisky 2023 Edition.
The Scottish company has restricted the production of the single malt to thirteen thousand bottles, each proudly displaying the 12-point silver stag emblem.
The Dalmore has been distilling in the Scottish Highlands since the middle of the 19th Century, and they are masters of whisky production. 2023 marks the launch of their limited edition 21-year-old Highland Single Malt, which has matured in thirty-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks. These casks are exclusive to The Dalmore as part of its ongoing relationship with Sherry bodega, González Byass.
The Dalmore 21-Year-Old 2023 Edition comes to the market less than a year after Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass won Master Distiller of the Year at the Icons of Whisky Scotland Awards. A justified celebration as Glass makes his mark at The Dalmore, following six years of being mentored by Richard Paterson OBE in the DNA and heritage of the Scottish Distillery.
You experience a fantastic harmony when smelling the whisky, with the signature aromas of The Dalmore tantalizing you. Bitter chocolate, oranges and gentle spices, layer with sweet liquorice and Black Forest fruits. In your mouth, you taste marzipan, roasted walnuts and the lingering flavours of Sanguinello blood oranges, pear tarte tatin and ginseng.

About The Dalmore
The Dalmore started in 1839 on the banks of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands. The 12-point silver stag which proudly adorns each bottle was bestowed upon the first chieftain of Clan Mackenzie in 1263 by King Alexander III of Scotland. The stag became the whisky’s emblem when descendants of the clan took over the distillery in 1878.
The Dalmore distillery’s collection of idiosyncratic stills creates a New Make spirit of unique character and depth – robust and fruity, particularly well-suited to more extended and more complex maturation. The process allows Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass and his team to develop spirit over a greater length of time, continuing a tradition of visionary whisky-making as they fully express their art using rare casks from some of the world’s finest wineries and bodegas.
